Yeah, Anchorman rocks. Such a great movie, no matter what AG says.

i'd have to say that in this category of music i love even though i shouldn't would be hanson's mmmbop. i actually still know all of the words, and
have sang this song in public with a friend when we randomly found someone who could play it on the guitar.
i'm 22, for pete's sake! i should not know the words to that song! even when it first came out, i was older than their average listener... but
damnit, it's so catchy!

Anchorman is pretty funny. Paul Rudd is soooo awesome!
I know somebody on this mb who likes Hanson and it's not me.
Still my guitar gently weeps

Even though this is four years past the last post, I have something I must get off my chest... Or whatever the saying is. As much as I know I should
hate them, I listen to the Jonas Brothers.
But, there is a plus-side to that... Sort of...
Adam Schlesinger wrote "I Am What I Am" for them for their first album, "It's About Time".
... Or maybe that just makes it worse...
Don't go away mad... Just go away.

Oh yay old thread!
My taste has become a lot less...refined since I last posted in this thread a few years ago. My thirteen year old self would be very disappointed.
I'm just very eclectic, so I usually end up listening to a lot of music those in the know consider awful, but pop music is pop music and it's
brainless but sometimes you just watch catchy mindless stuff. I'm really into Avril Lavigne's old stuff and Akon and Rihanna, especially, she's great,
so is Beyonce and I'm madly in love with Kanye West, and even the Jobros, don't be embaressed, Flyscorpio.
Sure, I listen to Fountains of Wayne and The Beatles and The Magnetic Fields and the Arcade Fire and hipster bands like that, but I also like that
Miley Cyrus song (you know that song), although that's mostly just for the lulz. I also really like T.I. and Britney Spears and Taylor Swift, whose
hair is pretty.
So, yeah, as a music lover, I've pretty much given up on all forms of elitism, and I am no longer embarrassed about anything I like. So there is no
music I "know I should hate" because I don't know anything, I just listen to anything that makes my brain chemicals do that little chemical dance that
happens in your brain when you really like a song.

I'm not embarrassed for liking the Jonas Brothers, really, because Matt Fuqua (of The Afters, #4 on my Top 10 list of favorite bands) has them on his
iPod and listens to them occasionally, though really as a guilty pleasure. Knowing that makes me feel better because I know I'm not the only guy who
listens to them.
And no, The Jonas Brothers are not on my Top 10. (In case anyone asks)
Don't go away mad... Just go away.

15/16 when they came out (I know there was a lot younger fans out there as well)
