FoW Live On Irish TV

FoW on The Saturday Night Show

Performing live on Saturday night the 12th on Irish TV.

The performance is available until 3rd December.

Go to 21.50 in the show.

If someone is clever enough to record the video (either by download or by screen capture) I'd love a copy. Unfortunately my download speed isn't quick enough for the latter. :dammit:

Wow, I was expecting Dip in the Ocean but to see them play that was really surprising. The chap on keyboards looked like one of the Road Crew (who played drums for David Mead in London!). The Piano parts he played were certainly adding a lot more to the song than when they played it on Leno and gave it a really nice edge.

I was also intrigued that Adam and Jody were using completely different instruments to those on the tour. I wonder if a friend leant them to the band for the show?

Thanks Sherb

Thanks. I've been wondering why they haven't been playing that on tour. It's possibly my favourite song from Sky Full of Holes.

I don't really like when they bring the song down to G. It just makes it sound a little lazy to me somehow. I guess because I'm just used to it in the key of A.

The live version isn't a patch on the studio version in my opinion.

I think I just got a clue as to why.......:)

Chris sent me a message through Twitter last night explaining the situation about the guitar gear. They sent everything home after the Manchester show and flew over to Dublin on the day of the gig using borrowed equipment (everything was borrowed apparently!).
