And the board has come back to life!
Thanks for the song titles. They sound interesting enough, action man sounds like it could have a bit of a bite to it and go back to the heavier
sounds!
I am wondering if they will do a worldwide iTunes release. They have not got a UK record deal and otherwise the only way the fans would get to hear it
is to pirate it which is not ideal.

Yay, great news. I was considering booking a holiday for September but I'll wait in case they announce dates in Europe...

The CD will be available to import whether it gets an official release over here or not.

Fantastic news! Looking forward to another album and tour.
We flew from Denver to DC last fall to catch a show at the Birchmere - and now probably need to book a flight to NY to catch the show at the Stone
Pony.
I hope they make it back to Denver!

way I see it,
stage 1 will be they release what the cover of the CD will look like on their website.
stage 2 they will release clips of the songs on the website
stage 3 the full CD will leak on the torrent sites and we will hear it.
stage 4 we will all say its the best thing they've ever done cause its new and its Fountains of Wayne.
stage 5 having had it and listened for awhile and the honeymoon is over we will endlessly bitch and moan it isnt as awesome as thier early
CD's.

Stage 5 isnt likely for me unless the production ruins it. I mean we already heard five songs that are as solid as their past material, cold confort
flowers being the weakest for me, and even this one is good. So i dont think we need to worry.

I've renamed the thread and put it at the top of the thread list. I don't know why, I have these powers so I guess I felt like using them.
As for the album, I'm excited. No doubt the Japanese release will contain the usual bonus track or two, I may try and buy that if it comes out around
the same time.

I still think Traffic and Weather is awesome. I just wish they had put those funky japanese only tracks on the general release. I lost those years
ago.
I am glad that dancing banana is back!

Warner Music Japan has not announced anything about a Japan release. It takes too long

Those guys always get the cool bonus stuff. I still remember back in 2007, I had to look around for ages to find mp3s of Sense Into You and You Gotta
Go.

You can buy it at http://www.hmv.co.jp/en/
I got a lot of japanese edition records that way, it's a bit more expensive than a regular cd though.

I loved Sense Into You and it was pretty hard to obtain. I hope they give us a B-side album before their next.

I think they tried that before but the cost of an ambulance crew having to defib Adam back to life after each show was eating up all the profits.

Traffic and Weather was a great album, I know not everyone got into it but I thought it was terrific.
PS - I know someone who has those bonus tracks if you are ever interested in "rediscovering" them.

Traffic & Weather is probably the only album with 80s production elements that i can listen too. I gotta admit i cringed a bit on Strapped for Cash
first, but now i love it.
Seems like Sky full of Holes will be a back to basis though, the songs we heard sounds like classic Fountains of Wayne.
