Embedding youtube videos
I embedded a youtube video into a thread on the main page.
I just want to make sure that this does not affect the bandwith of Fountains of Wayne.us.
I had a quick search on the net and it seems that it won't, but I just wanted to check.

I got no memory of anything at all......

It should all stream directly from youtube. No worries.

Ah, thanks for confirming that, I didn't want to stuff things up.
It looks a lot better embedding the video rather than just posting a link.

How do you embed a video?

Embedding from youtube is pretty easy, just copy and paste the embed code from the youtube page (in the information box in the top right-hand corner,
under the URL box).
In the case of Mexican Wine on youtube (on this page - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4blhM9IU3A ) I have copied the embed code directly below and voila!
As for cases when you are embedding from a site other than youtube or if youtube has the embedding feature disabled, I would have to have a look at
that (I am no expert!).
Cheers.

Ok..there would be no problem with the you tube video on tht page as youtube automatically sets the width of he video on the page
