What are you listening to right now?

As this is a thread in other band's forums (like Livenirvana.com/forum) I thought: Let's start it here also.

As the title says: What are you listening to right now?

Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm

The hum of my computer, and my cat eating some dry cat food. Oh.. and my phone ringing...

I hardly ever look at anyone's myspace page but my own. Mostly because other people's myspace's give me headaches, and I am pretty cool.

Right now I'm listening to the TV. I'd rather be listening to Fountains of Wayne though.

Apart from Fountains of Wayne.

The Icarus Line - Black Lives on the Gold Coast. A fantastic album if you get a chance to listen to it.

"At My Age" by Nick Lowe.

I've stuck with him since the early days, and it's nice to see the new CD getting such nice reviews. This isn't Jesus of Cool type stuff, but it's a joy to listen to.

I'm at this second listening to an excellent indie compilation from a small Coventry-(UK) based label called Tough Love Reocrds.I think it's called 'What Will Survive Of Us', but can't really tell if 'Survive' is right as it's not that clear o the cover - it's quite abstract! I'm came across it because the band I used to mange, Dead! Dead! Dead!, are on it, but it's got delights from excellent bands such as Honeytrap, Smokers Die Younger, Chaos Emeralds and The Tacticians. I'd recommend if anyone is into lo-fi indie pop from the UK...

Aside from that I can't stop listening to the Good Shoes 'Think Before You Speak' album, and also Billy Bragg's 'Must I Paint You A Picture' Best Of...

at the moment, ive been digging lots of australian bands. Augie march, Dappled Cities and my favorite Eskimo Joe. Their debut album is coming out next week, but i've had my copy since its australian release last year. The track "New York" is so beautiful and haunting. Breaks my heart in a good way.

i highly recommend aussie rock, but i'd start with Eskimo Joe :rotfl::rotfl:

Ben Folds - "In Between Days"
the piano has never been more rock 'n' roll.
I like this version better than the original.

I'm listening to "Drama Queen" by Switches. They're my new favorite band. Ya'll should check em out. And I just found out they are in the running for Yahoo! Music Who's Next. If they win you can watch a live in-studio perf of them. http://music.yahoo.com/promo-29644410 They would be awesome openers for Fountains of Wayne. Now, wouldn't that be a bill! :singing:

I'm listening to the songs stuck in my head all at the same time, which are:
"You Gotta Go" - Fountains of Wayne
"Someday" - The Afters
and now "Hash Pipe" is playing in my head because I noticed it as I was going through the thread. (Hey, that rhymes!)
And now my sister's singing.
