Dates

So I'm sure you've all noticed that the messageboard's dates have been screwed up for the last year or so. Well I just did an upgrade that should fix that. But if you have specified the date format in your control panel you may have to change it there too to make dates appear correctly.

No stamina

I change the settings and save the new settings and the dates appear.

However, next time I log on, the dates are gone!

Who keeps stealing my dates!:dammit:

I guess I will have to call in Sherriff Sherb.

I had noticed the problem with the dates, but thought it was something to do with the settings on my computer. Silly me.

I am not clever enough to fix the problem for you Stupor, you will have to check with Marshall PWC about that one. ;)

How do the dates appear to you? Or are they completely gone?

Thanks

Thanks for asking..................It turns out I have no dates, just times, whenever i first access the board. Then I login and change the settings and the dates reappear. Then I realized what you already have realized, I LOGGED IN. No dates if not logged in. Didn't use to be that way, but the dates are fine when logged on.

I jumped the gun and complained without due diligence.
I humbly ask for your forgiveness in this embarrassing moment.

I don't see any dates at all , just times. Has anyone got a definitive answer/solution to this - it's quite annoying!

It's cool, I played with my setting and put in a date preference and now it shows up. It should really have a default though, shouln't it?

Hehe :-)

The default setting is in place for all new sign-ups, but if you signed up or modified your dates when the wonky software revision was installed, your dates were/are affected.

Logging in generally helps.

I went through a similarly embarrassing situation on another site when I couldn't get something to work and sort of complained about it.

It turned out that logging in kinda, well, er.......fixed the problem.
